This week SaReGaMaPa will be getting its top 14 contestants to enter into the final Agnipariksha round. The show which has already been on news for its melodrama will see more of that sort in the coming week. Pakistan ki Beti, Sara Raza Khan who has been in controversy many a time and more recently for sharing of lyrics with Deepali in the duet, will again be seen in a controversy as according to her she is not getting the homely treatment when compare to other contestants on the show.
Although Sara smiles radiantly at you every time but there is a gloom looming large behind that radiant smile. She is the only Pakistani girl to have crossed the border to participate in the reality show and showcase her talent inspite of opposition from her community and is also facing lot of objection back at home. And this week she narrated a sordid tale of how she is being treated as an outcast here amongst her peers in Challenge 2009. She feels that she is being sidelined amidst her Indian and overseas counterparts. She and her mother openly let everyone present on the show know that since the people of her own community and own country do not approve of this, she would rather not be a part of this show, which left everyone flabbergasted on the sets.
The team of Golmaal Returns was present on the sets and this did some laughter therapy to the contestants present. The awesome foursome Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and the director Rohit Shetty not only had a blast on the sets but also released the film music. Ajay got a little nostalgic and went back to his old association with the channel when he and his family judged “Rock N Roll Family”. The participants were over the moon to have such big stars with them and that brought an extra zing to their performances.
Along with laughter and sorrow also comes the tension of who will get into the show via wild card. This week’s episode will also feature the new wild card entrants but also Somen Nandi, and Vaishali who got direct entry into Agnipariksha.

Sara Raza Khan, the first Pakistani girl who is representing Pakistan on a Saregamapa Challenge stage, has turned the tide of rules of the show. She will participate in the show on condition that she will not indulge in body exposure.
Sara confirms the news and says, “Ammijaan was a nervous wreck and was not very keen to send me to Mumbai, particularly because of the kind of clothes the women need to wear in front of the camera.”
An insider from Zee TV says, “It’s true that girls are made to wear sexy outfits on shows. The glamour quotient is important. Today’s girls have no problems, but there was an issue when we finished with the audition of Sara. She is a fine singer and we selected her, but she said that she will not indulge in body exposure.”
Sara adds, “I am not going to wear any sleeveless outfits or short dresses. And I will never drop the dupatta while doing the show. I must add that the scene is different in Pakistan; there people don’t appreciate someone singing in reality shows. Though gradually they are coming around.”
Sara, who is from Lakshya Gharana of Shankar Mahadevan, also did not want to say ‘Har Har Mahadev’, which is the slogan of her gharana. The project head of the show Santosh Shende says, “Yes, Sara didn’t want to say, ‘Har har Mahadev’. But I guess she didn’t know the meaning of the words. And yes, we did explain to her that it simply means ‘God is one’.”

Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2008-2009 is back with a bang and its gonna be the Ultimate battle ground for singers.
Introducing the magical Mentors of this year;
1. Himesh Reshammiya : He will lead the Rock Gharana and his war cry would be” Jai mata di lets rock”
2. Shankar Mahadevan : He will lead the Lakshya Gharana and his war cry would be ” Har Har Mahadev”
3. Pritam Chakroborty : He will lead the Dhoom Gharana and his war cry would be “Dhoom macha de, Duniya ghuma de”
4. Aadesh Shrivastava : He will lead the Jai Gharana and his war cry would be “jai ho, mangalmai ho”
The show will be lead by one other than Aditya Narayan the heartthrob of millions who debuted as host in the last reason.
The show is expected to be launched on 4th July at 10pm.
